THE PROBLEM WITH TRADITIONAL LIGHTING METHODS.
Although many types of lighters exist to ignite fireworks (e.g., long-stem/torch/ disposable, etc.), they pose risks by requiring close range lighting with little time to move away. In some cases, people have a natural tendency to stand over their fireworks when lighting them – thus increasing the risks.
Unfortunately, these have traditionally been the primary options available to fireworks consumers, but they are better suited for other tasks like lighting fireplaces, campfires, or candles.
